WorldShifter - Release 1.3 "MultiWorld"
The tool can now output multiple "stacked" worlds after shifting, ex. for use with the Multiverse plugin. It now also shifts PostProcessing tags, as well as Heightmaps, block_ticks, liquid_ticks, ToBeTicked, and LiquidsToBeTicked tags.
Ex, to "slice" a source world that spans from -2032 to 2032 into vanilla 1.18+ range without actual shifting (zero offset), you would use:
WorldShifter-1.3.8.jar <path-to-world> 0 -64 320 --multiWorld
Changelog:
- Added support for tag
Heightmaps - Added support for Tile tick format tags of
block_ticksandliquid_ticks - Added support for ToBeTicked format tags of
PostProcessing,ToBeTickedandLiquidsToBeTicked - Switched to custom fork of

WorldShifter - Release 1.2
The tool now supports the entities stored inside the entities folder of the world. Same as shifted terrain regions, these are copied to the entitiesShifted folder. It also now shifts two files at a time with the use of multithreading, which speeds up the process. To use more threads and further increase the speed, use the new optional parameter --threadCount <count>.
Changelog:
- Added support for the
entitiesfolder - Implemented multithreading
- Added optional parameter
--threadCountto specify the number of threads to use (default 2)
WorldShifter - Release 1.1
Fixed a major bug where block states meant to be updated/ticked, like fences, iron bars, etc, were not, by adding support for height clipping with the optional parameters [minY] and [maxY]. If the height is not specified, the default height limit, based on the chunk's DataVersion, is used to clip the shifted chunks.
WorldShifter - Release 1.0
- Initial codebase
- For now, it only supports shifting chunks, entities, tile entities, and height maps in region files
