Release Date: 21 May 2026

See installation instructions: https://github.com/Dechrissen/dexelect#installation

Features

  • [Core] Added 'HM Coverage' list to party stats output
  • [Core] Added generation filter to restrict party Pokemon to a particular generation (e.g. Gen 2 Pokemon only)
  • [GUI] Added clickable links to Pokemon names and sprites which open their pokemondb.net entries in your browser
  • [GUI] Added 'Spheres' tab which surfaces a per-game sphere generation mode dropdown to the user; the per-game sphere map was also moved to this tab
  • [GUI] Added 'Export Party' button in sidebar to allow saving party to a .txt file
  • [GUI] Added 'Report a Bug' button in sidebar footer

Changes

  • [Core] Removed SOFTBOILED and HEADBUTT as HMs in all games (seemed unnecessary — DIG and TELEPORT are still supported as HMs though)
  • [GUI] Added conditional warning message in Generate tab when party size < 6 that generation success may be affected
  • [GUI] Added general warning message to top of Config tab that overly-restrictive config settings may affect generation success
  • [GUI] Removed 'Save Config' button from 'Config' tab; it now auto-saves upon changing any setting
  • [GUI] Style and layout tweaks
