MobiVerse v2.2.1

MobiVerse 2.2.1 fixes text and illustrated EPUB reading in the built-in preview.

Who Should Download

This update is recommended for all MobiVerse 2.2.0 users, especially anyone who opens text EPUB books directly in MobiVerse.

Fixed

  • Text EPUB preview now loads the complete spine instead of stopping at the cover.
  • Added previous and next section controls plus a section progress slider.
  • Illustrated text chapters are no longer mistaken for image-only comic pages.
  • EPUB files opened directly now appear in the MobiVerse library.
  • Reopening the same EPUB does not create duplicate library records.
  • Direct EPUB library items use the existing cover extraction pipeline.

Supported Formats

EPUB, MOBI, AZW, AZW3, CBZ, CBR, ZIP, and PDF. Calibre is bundled for formats that require it; no separate installation is needed.

Install

  1. Download MobiVerse-2.2.1.dmg below.
  2. Open the DMG.
  3. Drag MobiVerse.app into Applications and replace the previous version.

Signing and Known Limitations

  • Apple Silicon (arm64) only.
  • The app is ad-hoc signed and the DMG is not Apple Developer ID notarized.
  • Gatekeeper may require System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway after the first launch attempt.
  • MobiVerse does not remove DRM.
