The app now updates itself.

What changed

  • Built-in updater. On launch Web Cloner checks GitHub for a newer release. If there is one, a bar appears at the top with Update Now — it downloads the DMG, replaces the installed app and reopens it. No dragging, no deleting the old copy. You can also run it from Web Cloner → Check for Updates…
  • Version numbers now come from the build, so the app knows exactly which release it is on.

Everything from 1.0.1 is included: CDN images download correctly and the escaped-URL 404s are gone.

Download

WebCloner.dmg — only needed for a first install. After this, updates arrive inside the app.
