This is a list of miscellaneous changes super_scary.jar makes to the game

Disclaimer Notice

When the player first launches Minecraft, they will be immediately show a screen warning about the mod's alpha state and incompatibility with shaders.

Console Screen

The game opens on the Phantom OS Console Screen instead of the main menu.

Ambient Screen Effects

A special screen effect is applied over the player's vision when they're in the world. This effect consists of three components: a desaturation shader, a chromatic aberration shader, and a faint animated static overlay.
