Barony Android Port 5.0.2 Beta 4

Beta 4 removes the ADB requirement for normal installation and adds portable save/settings backups.

Easier installation

1. Download the APK and Barony-Android-Data-Archive-Builder-5.0.2.ps1.
2. On a Windows PC with an owned Barony 5.0.2 Steam or GOG installation, run the builder. It creates Barony-Android-Data-5.0.2.zip.
3. Copy that ZIP to the phone.
4. Install and start the APK, choose Import archive, and select the ZIP.

Do not upload or share the generated data ZIP. It contains commercial game data from your installation.

• In-app owned-data archive import through Android's system file picker; no ADB or broad storage permission is required.
• Automatic Steam/GOG installation detection and pinned Barony 5.0.2 validation in the Windows archive builder.
• A Data & Saves screen in the main menu.
• Portable save/settings export and import.
• Staged validation and rollback, with traversal, duplicate, file-count, size, and integrity checks.
• The existing ADB data installer remains available as an advanced fallback.

Compatibility

• ARM64 devices running Android 8.0 or newer.
• Offline single-player.
• Gamepad, mouse/keyboard, and touch controls.
• Users must own compatible Barony 5.0.2 data.
• Steamworks, EOS, PlayFab, and multiplayer services remain disabled.

Updating

Install over the previous APK; do not uninstall first. Export saves/settings from Data & Saves before uninstalling or changing devices.

The APK is code-only and includes no commercial game assets.
