Integrity comes from HTTPS transport, the Squirrel feed metadata and the
SHA-256 digests below — not from a certificate.

Install

Download Setup.exe and run it. Squirrel.Windows installs per-user, so no
administrator rights are needed. Updates from here on stage themselves in the
background; restarting the application is the only step you take.

Built through the repository's own build.bat and build-installer.bat, at the
commit this release targets, on a local Windows machine. This was a manual
build, so there is no workflow duration to report — a stopwatch that never ran
is not quoted here.

Get-AuthenticodeSignature Setup.exe reports NotSigned, which is the
required state. amulet.exe is a GUI-subsystem executable, so no console window

Attribution is per surviving line via git blame, not summed from the log —
churn is not authorship. A commit counts as agent-written when it carries an
agent Co-Authored-By trailer. The grand total includes rows the project total
excludes, and both are shown so neither hides the other.

What is in this release

The interface is Material Design 3. Native wx controls went from 337 to 62,
and what remains is inside the Material widgets' own implementations rather than
on any surface a user meets. Preferences, the notification centre, local
history, the regex builder, the tab manager, the appearance editor, the block
and NBT editors and every plugin options panel are drawn by the application.

It renders correctly on a scaled display. The application now declares
per-monitor v2 DPI awareness, so Windows no longer bitmap-stretches it; design
sizes are converted from pixels rather than passed as points, which had made
every string a third too large; and the window is clamped to the display it
opens on, so a laptop no longer receives a window taller than its own screen.

It is much faster. A settings read that ran inside every paint has been
cached — token calls went from 521 µs to 0.8 µs each. Opening a world no longer
runs a Git commit or a full history scan on the interface thread. The 3D view
redraws when something changes instead of sixty-six times a second at rest.

The editing tools work and say what they did. The operation chooser and its
Run control are reachable for every stock operation; the export format dropdown
reaches the exporter it names; the selection coordinate boxes show and move the
real selection; the viewport's right button belongs to the camera again; and an
operation that changed nothing now says so instead of reporting success.

Progress and notifications never block. Progress is a bar over the
application rather than a modal dialog, indeterminate work is drawn differently
from work at zero, and toasts stack without overlapping or leaving the window.

It writes a log. A rotating file in the application's own data directory,
with a startup block naming the DPI mode, every display's geometry and scale,
and the window sizes requested, minimum and actual.
