๐ŸŽ›๏ธ Dashboard Configuration

The Grocy Command Center uses a custom Lovelace card (grocy-action-card) to display your data. It is highly responsive and designed to look beautiful on both narrow mobile screens and wide wall-mounted tablets.

๐Ÿ“ Basic Setup

To add the Command Center to your Home Assistant dashboard:

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and click the Pencil Icon (Edit).
  2. Click + Add Card.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select Manual.
  4. Paste the following configuration:
type: custom:grocy-action-card

๐Ÿ“ Advanced Layout Options

Grid Configurations If you are using Home Assistant's new Sections view, or a Sidebar/Panel layout, you can force the card to expand horizontally and utilize more grid columns. This prevents the card from looking "squished" on large displays.

type: custom:grocy-action-card
layout_options:
grid_columns: 3 # Adjust this number based on your dashboard width

๐Ÿงน Clearing the Cache

If you ever update the grocy-action-card.js file in the future, Home Assistant will likely hold onto the old version in its cache.

Desktop: Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).

Mobile App: Go to Settings > Companion App > Debugging > Clear Frontend Cache.
