v1.76.0 — the chips defer to you
The night bjstrange found four bugs and the fixes shipped before sunrise.
Fixed
- The group-member Selo's case (#116's other half, diagnosed in a live two-bard group): other players' songs never log in your file — so EQBuddy now reads the song's own pulse landing on you ("Your feet move faster.") and the cluster of fades when a twist lapses. A "You slow down." near either is the haste ending, both directions: no chip raised, and one already showing takes itself back. Every false alert in the diagnosing log is covered.
- Slow chips are dismissible — right-click one and it's gone. You know whether you're actually slowed; the chip now defers to you.
- Shaman Torpor-family HoTs (Stoicism/Nonchalance/Impassivity) no longer fire the slow alert (#132): a "slow" that also heals its target is a buff, whatever the wiki's blank field says.
- Phantom damage-shield mobs (#133): "YOU are pierced by The Spiroc Lord's thorns…" no longer invents a creature named after the whole sentence — the real mob is extracted, and your damage-taken and Loot target pool name it correctly.
- The charm-break announcement keeps its "held M:SS" time (#135) even when the pet turning on you broke the charm before the fade line printed.
New
- Socketed Exaltations in Gear checklist imports (contributed by theFlammHammer — welcome!): grouped under their own heading with effects in small text, older gear-only exports untouched.
EQBuddy is a BETA — four of the six items above came from player reports filed within hours of the fix. That's the loop working: ⚙ → Help → Send feedback.
