penetration.csv

penetration.csv is the file used to define the penetrating power of each gun. For this file, gun calibers are measured in inches, armor thickness is measured in millimeters, and distance is measured in kilometers.

File Setup

The first two columns show the caliber of each gun in inches. The top row uses the format of vert_x or horiz_x, with x being the distance in kilometers, vert referring to belt armor, and horiz referring to deck armor. This creates a table that shows the millimeters of armor penetrated by a mark 5 gun with a basic AP shell for each whole number of gun caliber.
