ELYTerminal 0.1.7
Added:
- Click the line you are typing at the shell prompt, and the cursor moves there. fish takes the click itself.
- Drop files on the terminal to type their paths, quoted for the session's shell.
- Fallback fonts: Settings › Appearance › Fallbacks lists fonts tried in order for characters your font lacks, Chinese among them.
- Double-click a session's title to rename it. Enter keeps the name, Esc drops it; an empty name gives the title back to the program.
Fixed:
- Ely's shirt and hair stay joined to the window's edge when she hops.
- Windows 10: with Background blur on, dragging the window no longer trails the pointer (#3). The glass clears while the window moves and blurs again when it rests.
- Ely 跳起时,衣服和头发仍与窗口边缘相连。
- Windows 10:开启背景模糊时,拖动窗口不再落后于鼠标(#3)。移动期间玻璃暂时清晰,停下后恢复模糊。

ELYTerminal 0.1.6
Added:
- Drag Ely along the edge she stands on, and she stays where you let her go. On Wayland she moves there once you let go.
- A scrollbar along the terminal's right edge scrolls its history, even while a program takes the wheel.
- Settings › Terminal checks for updates at start and once a day, or at once with Check now. A newer release shows a Download button that opens its page, and one found by itself posts a notification. The check runs
curl, which macOS and Windows ship; on Linux install it if your system lacks it.
On Wayland a window tiled under the compositor's own decorations, as Sway draws them, keeps Ely on its top edge: the compositor tells the app nothing of that tiling.

ELYTerminal 0.1.5
Fixes:
- When the window sits at the top of the screen or fills it, Ely stands inside it at its bottom left, where before she stuck between the menu bar and the terminal on macOS and stood off the screen on Windows and Linux.
- A press wakes Ely from her doze. She stays awake five minutes, then dozes again.
- On macOS no line shows along the top of Ely's window.
On Wayland a window tiled under the compositor's own decorations, as Sway draws them, keeps Ely on its top edge: the compositor tells the app nothing of that tiling.

ELYTerminal 0.1.4
Added:
- Ely peeks over the window's top edge and moves all the time: she breathes, sways and blinks. She follows your sessions: she hops when a program waits on you, shakes at an error, cheers a finish, reads along while a program works, and dozes after five calm minutes. Press her and she winks. Settings › Terminal › Ely turns her off.
Fixes:
- On Windows Ely stands on the window's top edge in a box her own size. The first 0.1.4 builds could open her window as large as the screen, drawing her at its bottom over the terminal and taking the clicks meant for the windows behind.
- herdr's shortcuts that hold Shift with a symbol, such as
cmd+shift+ctrl+[, reach herdr on macOS. - On Windows keys go to programs as Windows Terminal sends them, so herdr's shortcuts reach it there too. A Windows console passes no Windows key, so a
cmdshortcut cannot work there. - Cmd-click on macOS, Ctrl-click on Windows and Linux, opens links inside herdr: herdr opens the whole link where its pane wraps it, and underlines it while the key is held. herdr opens web links only; Shift with the click opens what the terminal shows.
On Linux a Shift-and-symbol shortcut still reaches herdr as the symbol alone: bind ctrl+{ for ctrl+shift+[.
These builds replace the first 0.1.4 builds, whose Ely stood still and on Windows could fill the screen; the SHA-256 sums below are the new ones.

ELYTerminal 0.1.3
Added:
- Session rows show what their programs report: waiting on you, for a permission, an answer or a login; an error; work, with its progress where known; done; idle; and a mark when the last command failed. The mark is 3 by 3 dots: they ripple while a program works, fill by its progress, dip while it waits for you, and draw a check, a cross or a ring when it settles. Hover over the mark lists each report. A hidden session that starts waiting sets its title bold until you show it.
- System notifications on macOS, Windows and Linux: while the window is in the background or the session hidden, a session that starts waiting, finishes or fails, and a program's notification, post one, one a session every 3 seconds at most. A press shows the window and the session. On macOS the app asks once for leave to post them.
- Programs report their status through OSC 7501, the Program Status Protocol, revision 0.4, and progress through OSC 9;4. Notifications come through OSC 9, OSC 777 and kitty's OSC 99, chunks, base64 and updates among them, and on macOS and Windows a program's close and expiry; on Linux the desktop's notification daemon keeps a notification until you close it.
- Inside herdr, herdr's agents are the session's status: working, waiting, done or idle.
- Shell integration marks each prompt and command with OSC 133 in zsh, bash, fish and PowerShell, and each session keeps its last command's status.
- Cmd-Up and Cmd-Down on macOS, Ctrl-Shift-Up and Ctrl-Shift-Down on Windows and Linux, jump to the prompt before or after the view's top.
- A drag on the border between a side column and the terminal resizes the column; the widths are kept.
Fixes:
- On Windows the right column follows herdr's focused pane too.
On Windows the app now names itself to the taskbar as com.zacharyzhang.elyterminal, which notifications need; a pin made with 0.1.2 may show apart from the running window until you pin it again.
These builds replace the first 0.1.3 builds, whose status marks stood still; the SHA-256 sums below are the new ones.

ELYTerminal 0.1.2
Fixes:
- Fixes herdr compatibility: inside herdr the right column follows the focused pane's folder, on macOS and Linux. herdr keeps its panes' folder reports to itself, so ELYTerminal asks herdr's socket for them.
- The window opens at the size it was left at, on macOS, Windows and Linux. A maximized or full-screen window keeps the size it had before.

ELYTerminal 0.1.1
Fixes from the first run on Windows and macOS:
- On Windows every title bar control works: the column toggles, the new session button, and the window's minimize, maximize and close. In 0.1.0 Windows took every press there as a drag of the window.
- The Git and Files switch moves below the title bar, centered, clear of the window buttons.
- On Windows and Linux, which have no menu bar, a gear in the title bar opens Settings.
- On Windows Ctrl+V pastes, as in Windows Terminal; Ctrl+Shift+V still does.
- The pointer over the terminal is the arrow.
- The macOS app is signed with Developer ID and notarized, so it opens without a Gatekeeper prompt.
- Settings: the General page is gone; Shell and Start in lead the Terminal page, which now lists every shortcut with a search, and the category list and the page scroll on their own.
Added on Linux:
- On Omarchy 4 the terminal wears the system's theme and changes with each switch. It is the default there; another pick in Settings stops it.
The Linux tarball was rebuilt from aae7fba to carry this. The tag and the macOS and Windows files stay at 43ea5b1.
