ELYTerminal 0.1.3
Added:
- Session rows show what their programs report: waiting on you, for a permission, an answer or a login; an error; work, with its progress where known; done; idle; and a mark when the last command failed. The mark is 3 by 3 dots: they ripple while a program works, fill by its progress, dip while it waits for you, and draw a check, a cross or a ring when it settles. Hover over the mark lists each report. A hidden session that starts waiting sets its title bold until you show it.
- System notifications on macOS, Windows and Linux: while the window is in the background or the session hidden, a session that starts waiting, finishes or fails, and a program's notification, post one, one a session every 3 seconds at most. A press shows the window and the session. On macOS the app asks once for leave to post them.
- Programs report their status through OSC 7501, the Program Status Protocol, revision 0.4, and progress through OSC 9;4. Notifications come through OSC 9, OSC 777 and kitty's OSC 99, chunks, base64 and updates among them, and on macOS and Windows a program's close and expiry; on Linux the desktop's notification daemon keeps a notification until you close it.
- Inside herdr, herdr's agents are the session's status: working, waiting, done or idle.
- Shell integration marks each prompt and command with OSC 133 in zsh, bash, fish and PowerShell, and each session keeps its last command's status.
- Cmd-Up and Cmd-Down on macOS, Ctrl-Shift-Up and Ctrl-Shift-Down on Windows and Linux, jump to the prompt before or after the view's top.
- A drag on the border between a side column and the terminal resizes the column; the widths are kept.
Fixes:
- On Windows the right column follows herdr's focused pane too.
On Windows the app now names itself to the taskbar as com.zacharyzhang.elyterminal, which notifications need; a pin made with 0.1.2 may show apart from the running window until you pin it again.
These builds replace the first 0.1.3 builds, whose status marks stood still; the SHA-256 sums below are the new ones.
