Choose the Epassword-Setup-1.0.0 ZIP matching Windows x64, Mac Intel (x64), or Mac Apple Silicon (arm64). It includes the desktop app, Chrome extension files, local API client and bilingual guides.

下载对应平台的一体安装包，完整解压后运行 install.cmd（Windows）或 bash install.command（Mac）。无需另装 Node.js。Chrome 插件仍需按安装指引手动启用并配对。

Standalone desktop EXE/DMG/ZIP and a Chrome extension ZIP are also provided. SHA256SUMS.txt contains asset checksums.

Included / 功能

  • Local Excel-backed vault; the master password is the Excel file-open password. Recover data with Microsoft Excel independently of Epassword.
  • Click to copy usernames/passwords, configurable password and PIN generation, custom fields, TOTP and authenticator QR scanning.
  • Chrome exact-origin autofill and confirmed registration credential saving.
  • Scoped local API for AI tools and programs, with Node.js/Playwright helper and English/Chinese API documentation.
  • Remember the last successfully opened vault path, without saving the master password.
  • Desktop and extension author-support menus with bundled Alipay/WeChat codes.

Installation notes / 安装说明

Mac packages use ad-hoc signing and are not Apple-notarized. Chrome distribution uses developer mode, not the Chrome Web Store. Existing users of development builds should close Epassword before installation and reload their Chrome extension afterward; keep the encrypted workbook and its backups.

Mac 安装包未经过 Apple 公证，插件通过开发者模式安装。已有开发版用户安装前关闭应用，安装后重新加载插件并配对，保留密码库与备份。
