How to change default instructions

The instructions of an Ask is where you put steps on how other users can provide you aid.

You can change the value for default instructions in your settings. The value that you set will be used to pre-fill the instructions field of an Ask when creating a new one.

Changing default instructions in Garden page

From within a Garden page, you can change the value of default instructions with the following steps:

1. If it's hidden, hover your mouse at the bottom of the screen to reveal the button
2. Click the button to open the Settings dialog
3. Update the value of Default instructions
4. Click the button in the dialog's buffer bar to save your changes

Changing default instructions in Landing page

From within the Landing page, you can change the value of default instructions with the following steps:

1. Click on the tab
2. Update the value of Default instructions
3. Click on the Save changes button to save your changes
