Business Model
On this page, we outline the underlying business model of the editor. This model is based on the Compartment Role Object Metamodel (CROM), yet it was adapted in three ways. First, its complexity was reduced, for instance, by merging the different kinds inheritance relations into one. Second, it permits the direct declaration of aggregation and composition relationships both for classes and role types. Third, it introduces novel concepts not present in CROM, i.e., Scenes, Events, CreateRelationships, and DestroyRelationships. The resulting model is illustrated in the class diagram below:
