troubleshooting
Having issues with ElliNetIRCd? This guide will help you fix your issues, or at least get help with them.
If you set LOGLEVEL (check the setup guide for more info on setting the variables) to DEBUG it will enable testing features and log more things.
Rename your plugins folder if you have it.
AI can help read tracebacks and figure out issues you might not know if you are not a programmer (or the error is a mess)
The community is small right now but me and anyone else might be able to help you with your problems if you ask in discussions! There is also a subreddit
Check for duplicates before posting, if there are no duplicates click "New discussions" and choose "Needing help with problems", add the logs with DEBUG enabled in a code block (to mske a code block wrap your logs in ``` on top and bottom). Explain the problem and what you want to do.
If the problem is in ElliNetIRCd itself (to make sure its from ElliNetIRCd rename your plugins folder if you have it), you need to report it as a issue here if there are no duplicates. Explain what it should have done and provide the logs in a code block. I should respond (eventually) to help you and fix the issue.
