PicFormat Image Converter converts photos between file formats entirely on your device. This policy is short because there isn't much to disclose: the app has no server, no account system, and no way to send anything anywhere.
None. PicFormat Image Converter does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage data, or analytics — not on our servers, because we don't have any, and not through any third-party service, because none is integrated into the app. There is no code in the app capable of making a network connection.
Every conversion happens locally on your device, using Apple's on-device image frameworks. An image you import is read, converted, and written back out to a destination you choose — it never leaves your device in the process, and no copy of it is kept anywhere outside the app's own temporary storage, which is cleared automatically when you're done with it and each time the app is opened.
If you choose to capture a photo from within the app, iOS will ask permission to use the camera. That photo is used only to feed the conversion you're performing — it is not uploaded, shared with us, or stored beyond your own device.
PicFormat Image Converter requests add-only access to your Photos library — the narrowest permission Apple provides for this purpose. This lets the app save a converted image into your library when you ask it to. It does not, and technically cannot, browse, read, or otherwise access any photo already in your library.
Importing from and saving to the Files app uses Apple's standard system file picker. You choose exactly which files to open and exactly where converted files are saved; the app only reads and writes the specific files and locations you select through that picker.
PicFormat Image Converter does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind, and shares no data with any third party — because the app never transmits data anywhere in the first place.
PicFormat Image Converter is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — the app has no mechanism to collect information from any user at all.
The Share button uses Apple's standard system share sheet — the app adds no custom sharing logic of its own. Once you pick a destination (Messages, AirDrop, Mail, another app, etc.), the transfer is handled entirely by iOS and whichever destination you chose.
If this policy ever changes — for instance, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data leaving your device — the "Effective" date above will be updated and the change will be described here before it applies.
