  • 2.38.1 — Local AI test shows the real error. The Test connection button
    used to swallow the failure and just say "couldn't connect." It now prints
    the underlying error too — connection refused (Ollama isn't listening),
    timed out (firewall), or a hostname that doesn't resolve — so a failed test
    actually tells you what's wrong.
