Installing & Removing Sound Packs

This guide explains how to install and remove sound packs on your Engage Pro Elite using the MicroSD card.

πŸ“¦ What is a Sound Pack?

A sound pack is a collection of audio files organised into banks.

Each bank represents a different character or profile and is triggered using the device buttons.

πŸ’Ύ Step 1 – Remove the SD Card

  1. Power off the device
  2. Remove the MicroSD card

⚠️ Do not remove the SD card while the device is powered on

πŸ’» Step 2 – Connect to Your Computer

  1. Insert the SD card into your computer
  2. Open the card in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac)

πŸ“ Folder Structure

Sound packs are stored in folders like: /bank1/ /bank2/ /bank3/

Each folder contains the audio files for that bank.

Option 1 – Replace an Existing Bank

  1. Open the SD card
  2. Choose a bank folder (e.g. bank1)
  3. Delete all files inside that folder
  4. Copy the new sound pack files into the same folder

⚠️ Do not rename the bank folder itself

Option 2 – Add a New Bank

If free banks are available:

  1. Create or use an empty folder (e.g. bank4)
  2. Copy the sound pack files into that folder

βž– Removing a Sound Pack

  1. Open the SD card
  2. Navigate to the bank folder (e.g. bank2)
  3. Delete the files inside

You can leave the folder empty or replace it with a new pack.

  3. Power on the device

πŸ” Step 4 – Test
