This guide explains how to install and remove sound packs on your Engage Pro Elite using the MicroSD card.
A sound pack is a collection of audio files organised into banks.
Each bank represents a different character or profile and is triggered using the device buttons.
- Power off the device
- Remove the MicroSD card
- Insert the SD card into your computer
- Open the card in File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac)
Sound packs are stored in folders like: /bank1/ /bank2/ /bank3/
Each folder contains the audio files for that bank.
- Open the SD card
- Choose a bank folder (e.g.
bank1) - Delete all files inside that folder
- Copy the new sound pack files into the same folder
If free banks are available:
- Create or use an empty folder (e.g.
bank4) - Copy the sound pack files into that folder
- Open the SD card
- Navigate to the bank folder (e.g.
bank2) - Delete the files inside
You can leave the folder empty or replace it with a new pack.
For best performance:
- Use supported audio formats (e.g. WAV)
- Ensure files follow correct naming conventions
- Avoid unsupported or incorrectly named files
- Safely eject the SD card from your computer
- Insert it back into the device
- Power on the device
- Switch banks using:
- Hold Button 1 + Button 8
- Trigger sounds to confirm everything is working
- Files not copied correctly
- Incorrect file names
- Wrong folder structure
- Files placed in wrong bank
- Old files not removed
- Missing required files
- Incorrect naming format
- Do not rename bank folders (bank1, bank2, etc.)
- Always power off before removing SD card
- Only use properly formatted sound packs
