OrbitOverlay 1.7.0
Orbit is now OrbitOverlay. Same app, new name. Updating from 1.6 moves your install over by itself: Orbit.exe becomes OrbitOverlay.exe, and the shortcuts and the admin task follow. Your settings stay where they were.
Who is in the room (VRChat). A panel with everyone in your instance. Friends (from VRCX, if you use it) and people you star come first, and it also shows who left lately. You get a card when a friend or a starred person comes or goes. Arriving in a world gives one card for everyone you know who is there, not one per person. A Room watch widget shows how many people are there. It reads VRChat's own log; nothing is sent anywhere.
Status line. Your chatbox text shows what you are listening to, plus the time and your time in VR if you like. Switch it on from the watch (Status line widget) or in Settings > VRChat. It needs OSC switched on in VRChat. It pauses while you type in the keyboard's chatbox mode.
No stray clicks in the game. While a laser points at an OrbitOverlay panel, the game doesn't get that hand's trigger, grip, stick or B / Y. It is on by default and can be switched off in Settings > VRChat.
Hexpad stream dock. The knobs are sliders now. Where Hexpad can read and set the value (volume, dock brightness, monitor brightness) the slider shows and sets it; anywhere else it steps like the knob. The keys are drawn from sharp, double-resolution pictures. This needs the matching Hexpad update.
The new VRChat settings tab is in both the Modern and the Windows 95 style.
