OrbitOverlay 1.8.1
Theater mode fix, smoother animations
- Theater mode: the screen shows up where your monitors are. 1.8.0 put it where you were looking when you
tapped the button, which is always the watch. Lying back with your arm up, that put the screen on the ceiling.
Now it goes out from your head through the monitor or window it plays, tilted like that one. Recenter works
the same way. - The dim behind the theater screen is now a wall just behind the screen, bent around you. Before, it was a
sheet right in front of your eyes, which SteamVR could draw over the screen. - The watch animates at your headset's refresh rate (it was capped at 45 fps).
- Text is laid out once and kept, so a watch frame takes about a third less time. Rendering is pixel-identical.
- Theater mode: the other panels come back near the end of the glide home. The switcher rises in, and its
buttons animate.
