At version 10.5.1

When publishing directions and routing services to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5.1, you get the following new features

  • Plan Routes, Find Nearest, and Connect Origins to Destinations analysis tools as well as the directions button in the Map Viewer can save the results as route layers. At version 10.5

When publishing directions and routing services to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5, you get the following new features

  • You can access the Choose Best Facilities analysis tool in the map viewer. Choose Best Facilities analysis tool finds the set of facilities that best serve demand from surrounding areas. Facilities might be public institutions that offer a service, such as fire stations, schools, or libraries, or they might be commercial ones, such as drug stores or distribution centers for a parcel delivery service. Demand represents the need for a service that the facilities can meet. Demand is associated with point locations, with each location representing a given amount of demand.
