@Evr5 Evr5 released this 02 Jan 09:47

Updates / Improvements

  • Introduced a new UDP v2 protocol (CT2) with chunking + reassembly, greatly reducing packet loss in broadcast (avoids IP fragmentation) and improving reliability for large clipboard/text transfers.
  • Added automatic cleanup of incomplete transfers (timeout) and improved internal history/queue cleanup.
  • On first launch, you will be asked to choose a username (required).

UI/UX improvements:

  • Ctrl+Enter to send a message (Enter alone keeps a new line)
  • Copy full message button
  • Clear conversation button (also clears backend state)
  • Faster/predictable behavior when pasting large texts + chat history auto-resizes progressively.

Added UI localization:

  • auto-select language from the system locale
  • --lang CLI option to force a language (persisted in settings)
