LayerSpy v1.7.0 introduces two major diagnostic engines designed to catch print defects before they reach the build plate: the VFA & Ghosting Radar and the Corner & Deceleration Auditor with automatic Pressure Advance detection.

🌟 New Features & Highlights

📡 VFA & Ghosting Radar

  • Vibration Corridor Detection: Configure two distinct speed bands (defaults: 45–65 mm/s and 90–110 mm/s) to target known stepper motor resonance frequencies and belt vibrations.
  • Outer Wall Ratio Analysis: Dynamically calculates the exact percentage of outer walls printed in the hazard zones. Triggers an alert if $> 15%$ of outer perimeters are affected.
  • Dedicated Visual Radar Mode: Highlights high-risk outer perimeters in Magenta, safe speeds in Green, and dims internal structures in translucent gray (available in both 2D and 3D).

📐 Corner & Deceleration Auditor (Bulging & Pressure Advance)

  • Vector Angle Geometry Engine: Identifies sharp corner vertices ($\alpha < 100^\circ$ / direction changes $> 80^\circ$) across outer walls.
  • Deceleration Delta Tracking: Flags acute nozzle pressure spikes when entering corners with speed drops $\Delta v > 60\text{ mm/s}$.
  • Smart Pressure Advance (PA) Auditor:
    • Automatically scans G-Code for Klipper SET_PRESSURE_ADVANCE, Marlin M900 K, and slicer configuration comments.
    • No PA Configured: Highlights vertices as 🔴 High Bulge Risk.
    • PA Active: Classifies vertices as 🟡 PA Stress Points (firmware compensation active).
  • Canvas Warning Overlays: Renders glowing warning beacons on the exact vertices of affected corners in 2D and 3D with an on/off toggle.

🎨 UI & Layout Stability

  • Jitter-Free Control Bar: Separated view modes, legends, and playback sliders into distinct, fixed-height flex containers to eliminate layout jumping when switching between analysis modes.
  • Bento Widget Integration: Real-time summary cards for VFA status and Pressure Advance diagnostics in the sidebar.
  • Enhanced Linter Navigation: Added direct "Jump to Layer" buttons in the G-Code Inspector for all corner warnings.
