This release includes the following features:

  • Ability to load a slate if a next VOD request fails. Still a bit in beta. Enable this by providing the config.slateUri when creating a session. When functionality leaves beta it will be possible to provide this configuration in the Channel Manager and config passed on when a channel/session is created.
  • A new healthcheck endpoint where the health of the playheads can be monitored: /health/:sessionId
