Toolbar tooltips can be switched off, and the toolbar tiles from 0.22.11 are fixed.

Install or update

  1. Download UIEnhancer-Community-0.23.1.zip below and extract it to a folder of your choice (not the Community folder). If you have an earlier version, extract over it or to a new folder.
  2. Run UIEnhancerManager.exe. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Close the simulator, then click Update in the app. Your settings and favourites are kept.

What's changed

  • Hide toolbar tooltips. A new switch in the Toolbar panel on the In flight page stops the name labels popping up under the toolbar buttons. It works with or without the diamond tab.
  • Toolbar tiles fixed. In 0.22.11 the larger tiles could be cut off at one end of the toolbar, and their icons were too big. The tiles are now the simulator's own button size, so the toolbar fits at any resolution.

Requirements

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (Microsoft Store or Steam), Windows 10 or 11, and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (part of Windows 11; the app tells you if it's missing).
