Version: 1.1.0
Date: 2026-10-15
Graphics:
- Redesign all five assemblers with detailed Blender-rendered models, vanilla-inspired recolored casings and planetary dust, wear and oily seams.
- Animate connected gears and linkages, guided presses, placement heads, tape feeders, rotary tooling and the final-tier process chamber with 48-frame native loops.
- Keep casings, cables and pipework stationary; use separate shadows and clean idle frames.
- Add contained Fulgora coil discharges, cycling Vulcanus billet light, a subtle Aquilo cryogenic pulse and restrained working lights.
- Fit machine artwork within the three-tile width, improve ground alignment and move smaller Alt-mode recipe icons clear of machinery.
Balancing:
- Make the green assembler available after Automation 2 with a small assembling-machine-2 recipe and 50 red/green research cycles.
- Use accessible direct starter recipes instead of previous-tier machines, large module costs or consumed planetary buildings.
- Unlock orange, purple and blue independently through five locally produced carbide, holmium or lithium items; unlock white after the first cryogenic plant.
- Remove extra planetary science and quantum-processor gates; preserve base-game progression without Space Age.
- Reduce active power to 375 kW, 750 kW, 1.5 MW, 3 MW and 6 MW; retain crafting speeds and startup options.
Changes:
- Place all five tiers directly after assembling machine 3 in crafting and inventory order.
- Use native activity-driven playback without runtime Lua animation callbacks.
- Consolidate the intermediate 1.0.x updates into this redesign release; preserve prototype names and existing saves.
Info:
- All five final animation sheets contain 48 distinct frames; isolated Factorio 2.0.77 captures verified working motion and static idle states.
- Loader transfer, robot construction, fluid rotations, planetary milestones and multiplayer checks are documented in the repository and mod listing.
