Optimization History
- Every processed file is now logged — filename, preset, original size, output size, savings %
- Savings summary card on the Optimize tab with a 7-day sparkline
- Full History page: swipe to delete entries, share any past output, clear all
- Inline quality slider (60–100) with live quality badge and reset-to-default
Performance
- Gallery thumbnails are cached in memory — scrolling back up never re-fetches
- Viewer pre-loads the previous and next image on every page change
- Already-viewed pages stay alive in memory (no reload on swipe-back)
- Thumbnail decode size reduced to 200 px; RepaintBoundary isolates repaints from selection state
UI / UX
- Nav bar hides when scrolling down, reappears on scroll-up or scroll-end
- Image viewer: swipe-to-dismiss is downward only — upward swipe no longer accidentally closes
- Splash screen replaced: clean single-animation fade + scale entry, no orbiting dots
- Albums: People and Recently Deleted special cards removed
- Settings: Rate tile removed; Feedback tile links directly to WhatsApp chat; version number is now live from the binary

Copy cleanup
- Onboarding copy rewritten — plain, specific, no filler
- Processing step labels are literal: "Reading file...", "Compressing...", "Encoding JPEG...", "Done"
- 54 decorative divider comments stripped across 11 files
Install
Download the APK for your device:
- SnapTune-arm64.apk — recommended for most phones (2018 and newer)
- SnapTune-armeabi.apk — older 32-bit devices
- SnapTune-x86_64.apk — Android emulator
Enable "Install from unknown sources" in Android settings before installing.
