v1.3.3 — UI Polish & Navigation Overhaul
What's new in v1.3.3
Navigation & Layout
- Floating app bar on Gallery and Albums — content now scrolls visibly underneath with a gradient fade, matching the bottom pill bar style
- Segmented pill control replaces the separate tab buttons — a single dark toggle between All and Album views, consistent across both pages
- Gallery title moved to the left edge (was incorrectly centered)
Visual Improvements
- Splash screen — "SnapTune" title is now centred and larger (54px), tagline pinned to the bottom
- Circular icon button — the ⋮ menu button now has a proper circle shape instead of a squircle
- Light mode viewer — viewer background now correctly follows the theme (was stuck on black)
Optimize & Result Pages
- Back button added to the Optimize page when opened from the media viewer
- Result page redesign — removed the generic AI success icon; now shows platform name, a green "Ready" chip, and a real before/after file size comparison
Fixes
- Removed unused
dart:uiandshare_plusimports - Cleaned up unused
_scaleAnimanimation field from result page
SnapTune v1.3.2 — Video Access Fix
What's fixed in v1.3.2
Video File Access
- Fixed: videos skipped processing on many Android devices — the app now tries three methods to access your video file: direct path → origin file → content URI (covers SD cards, WhatsApp downloads, all Android storage models)
- Fixed: silent failure now shows an error — if a video truly cannot be read, you get a clear message instead of a fake "done" result
Android Permissions
- Added
READ_MEDIA_AUDIO— required on Android 13+ for FFmpegKit to process embedded audio tracks in video files - Added
MANAGE_MEDIA— required on Android 11+ for apps that read and write media files - Audio permission is now explicitly requested at app startup on Android 13+
Result
Videos that previously finished in 2 seconds (skipped processing) will now take 10-30 seconds as FFmpeg actually transcodes them to H.264/AAC for WhatsApp.

SnapTune v1.3.1 — Video Fix
What's fixed in v1.3.1
Video Processing Bug Fixes
- Fixed: video file couldn't be read on some devices — app now tries
originFileas a fallback when the primary file path returns null (affected videos on SD cards, WhatsApp downloads, Bluetooth-received files) - Fixed: videos without an audio track caused silent failure — FFmpeg no longer tries to encode audio that doesn't exist
- Fixed: undetectable audio sample rate treated as invalid — sample rate of 0 (common on some compressed files) is now treated as unknown = OK
- Fixed: scale filter could fail to parse — replaced complex FFmpeg conditional expression with pre-computed dimensions
What this means
Videos that previously showed "already optimal" (because the processor gave up silently) will now actually be transcoded to H.264/AAC and survive WhatsApp without recompression.

What's new
Bug fixes
- Splash screen no longer flashes gallery behind it during transition
- Nav bar now fully collapses (no leftover empty space) when hidden on Gallery
- Nav bar auto-hide is now Gallery-only; other tabs always keep it visible
- Duplicate images in gallery fixed (rapid scroll no longer triggers multiple concurrent page fetches)
Changes

- Favorites removed from nav bar; access it via the Albums tab card at the top
SnapTune v1.1.0 — Speed & History

- Full History page: swipe to delete entries, share any past output, clear all

- Already-viewed pages stay alive in memory (no reload on swipe-back)
- Thumbnail decode size reduced to 200 px; RepaintBoundary isolates repaints from selection state
UI / UX
- Nav bar hides when scrolling down, reappears on scroll-up or scroll-end
- Image viewer: swipe-to-dismiss is downward only — upward swipe no longer accidentally closes
- Splash screen replaced: clean single-animation fade + scale entry, no orbiting dots
- Albums: People and Recently Deleted special cards removed
- Settings: Rate tile removed; Feedback tile links directly to WhatsApp chat; version number is now live from the binary
Result screen
- Before / After drag slider for side-by-side quality comparison on image results
Copy cleanup
- Onboarding copy rewritten — plain, specific, no filler
- Processing step labels are literal: "Reading file...", "Compressing...", "Encoding JPEG...", "Done"
- 54 decorative divider comments stripped across 11 files
