What's fixed in v1.3.1

Video Processing Bug Fixes

  • Fixed: video file couldn't be read on some devices — app now tries originFile as a fallback when the primary file path returns null (affected videos on SD cards, WhatsApp downloads, Bluetooth-received files)
  • Fixed: videos without an audio track caused silent failure — FFmpeg no longer tries to encode audio that doesn't exist
  • Fixed: undetectable audio sample rate treated as invalid — sample rate of 0 (common on some compressed files) is now treated as unknown = OK
  • Fixed: scale filter could fail to parse — replaced complex FFmpeg conditional expression with pre-computed dimensions

What this means

Videos that previously showed "already optimal" (because the processor gave up silently) will now actually be transcoded to H.264/AAC and survive WhatsApp without recompression.
