IPQuality for Windows 0.8.0 — official upstream feature sync
Pre-releaseWindows 0.8.0 synchronizes the native implementation with official xykt/IPQuality commit 87397e2 (script v2026-09-16). The main branch now mirrors that commit, and windows-native includes its history.
- Updated ipapi and DB-IP requests, Amazon/Reddit/TikTok rules, DNS decisions and the 423-zone upstream DNSBL list.
- Added the official basic-information languages with English labels, automatic IPinfo Lite fallback, ANSI export, official JSON field mapping, native interactive menu and opt-in online reports. Sponsor content and the official counter remain available as explicit options.
- Preserved explicit routing, masked local reports, the Consolas 18 / 74x47 window contract and the UTF-8 decoding fix for GBK consoles. Historical reports are retained during upgrade.
- The feature map records native adaptations and output differences; this is a community Windows port, not an official upstream Windows distribution.
Validation: offline regression and source-archive installation passed locally and on Windows CI at the exact source commit. Chinese/English IPv4 checks succeeded; the full current-route run returned 8 of 9 reputation sources. Some services returned TLS errors/timeouts. Real report upload, physical desktop display, IPv6 end-to-end and simultaneous same-exit Bash/native comparison were not revalidated; this remains a preview.
