Documentation release: no code changes since 0.1.0.

Changes

  • The README now explains how to install the prebuilt Apple Silicon binary, how to verify its checksum, and how to handle Gatekeeper's quarantine flag.

Install

cargo install appmem

The binary is not notarized. Downloading it with curl, as above, avoids Gatekeeper's quarantine flag. If you download it with a browser instead, run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine appmem before the first launch.

Requires macOS 12 or later.
