This release incorporates feedback from peer usability testing to streamline the symptom logging experience and improve on-screen ergonomics on mobile devices.

Key Enhancements & New Features

  • Multi-Select Symptom Categories:
    • Users can now select multiple categories (e.g., Pain + Fatigue) for a single entry.
    • Added active checkmark badges and distinct category accent coloring to clearly identify selections.
  • Multi-Select Body Areas:
    • Body area selection now supports multiple areas (e.g., Head + Neck) with active ✓ indicators.
  • Smart Keyboard Auto-Scroll on Notes Focus:
    • Integrated dynamic keyboard height detection with KeyboardAvoidingView.
    • Tapping the Notes input smoothly scrolls the view up so the input field and the "Log Symptom" button are never obscured by the virtual keyboard.
  • Multi-Category Timeline Support:
    • The Timeline view now detects all logged categories, displaying multiple colored category badges on the entry card.
    • Category filtering on the Timeline now correctly matches logs with multiple categories.

Automated Test & Verification Status

  • Frontend: 54 / 54 Jest tests passing (94.7% statement coverage)
  • Backend: 40 / 40 Pytest tests passing (77% statement coverage)
  • API & Database: Full end-to-end compatibility with FastAPI and Supabase PostgreSQL.
