Summary

This hotfix release addresses several issues affecting video playback and comment loading, while also updating comment handling for YouTube’s threaded replies.

Note

This release should reduce the chances of seeing the Could not find ytcfg in the HTML page error. However, as long as YouTube requires us to use information from the HTML page, there will always be a chance that YouTube will return a CAPTCHA page instead.

• Fallback to extracting the potoken challenge data and config from the YouTube homepage by @absidue in #9637
• Fix legacy as default format but unavailable won't fallback to other formats by @PikachuEXE in #9644
• Fix: Duplicates when click spam loading elements in comments by @Shadorc in #9412
• Fix SABR redirect handling not updating SABR URL which is actually used by @PikachuEXE in #9689

Changes

• Updated comments to handle threaded replies, allowing comments to load normally again by @CL-Jeremy in #9555
