First release of the Dynamix artwork archive: a searchable gallery and a slideshow of public artwork from the original Dynamix by C4Cat, with a provenance record for every file.

What is in the archive

  • 3,773 unique files by SHA-256 (1.34 GB), from 7,138 source records across 104 sources:
    • two English wikis (Miraheze and Fandom), cross-checked against Japanese wiki song lists;
    • credited illustrators' and composers' own posts (X, pixiv, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Bilibili, ArtStation, a portfolio site);
    • official store pages and social channels;
    • Wayback Machine captures, press articles and a press screenshot gallery.
  • Artwork: 632 song art, 712 character, 566 background, 318 part, 160 promotional and 14 pack cover files.
  • Kept separately from artwork: 223 gameplay screenshots, 58 store screenshots and 1,089 reference files.
  • Songs: 537 songs have positive original-game evidence.
    • 531 of them have confirmed song art; 6 have only an inferred match.
    • 18 have an artist or official original, and 54 have art with a long edge of at least 1920 px. The other 477 have only lower-resolution copies.
  • Original bytes are kept as downloaded. Nothing is upscaled, cropped or recompressed; only the grid previews are derived WebP files.
  • Provenance: every record keeps its source page, download URL, retrieval time, hashes, dimensions, credits with evidence and mapping status. Blocked, failed, excluded and pending candidates stay listed (10,183 candidates in total).

Downloads

  • dynamix-artwork-archive-v1.0.0.zip (1.35 GB) contains:
    • every original once, at its catalog path, including the files the website links to the repository;
    • data/: the catalog, coverage, source manifests and discovery snapshots;
    • the public documentation, LICENSE, NOTICE, licenses/ and SHA256SUMS.
  • dynamix-artwork-archive-v1.0.0.zip.sha256 holds the zip's SHA-256.
  • The website serves the 2,403 artwork originals directly. The 1,370 screenshots and reference files are linked to the repository, to stay within the GitHub Pages size limit.

Known gaps

  • 11 sources could not be enumerated completely: login or challenge pages, deleted posts, and an official site that no longer resolves. No universal completeness is claimed.
  • Most song art is a wiki copy below 1920 px, and 256 songs have no known illustrator.

The software is licensed under Apache-2.0 (see LICENSE and NOTICE). The interface is adapted from the DEEMO gallery by Mashiro and FridrichMethod (FridrichMethod/deemo).
