Use this page only when PlxNative reports jail_missing_rtkmem on an affected Realtek k5lp/k3lp television.

Repair from PlxNative

1. On the failure screen, choose Repair sandbox.
2. Read the confirmation and confirm it. Cancel is selected by default.
3. Wait for the result.
4. If PlxNative reports Sandbox repaired, close the app completely and reopen it before retrying the same video.

The Repair button requires an already-rooted TV and an elevated Homebrew Channel service. It does not root the television or install a privileged service. It asks LG's jailer to rebuild the native sandbox for the current PlxNative installation. No repair runs at startup or during ordinary playback.

A success result means the command completed and PlxNative could read /dev/rtkmem; it does not itself prove that a video decoded. A timeout has an unknown outcome, and PlxNative will not retry in the same process. Close and reopen the app before making another decision.

Evidence and limits

The reporter of issue #74 restored playback on an LG 43UM7400PLB (k5lp, platform release 4.10.0) by running the equivalent jailer operation from a root shell with PlxNative v0.6.3. The v0.6.5 button uses that operation with fixed app-id, path, root, result and device checks.

The in-app button itself has not yet been run on an affected television. Persistence after reboot, reinstall or firmware update has not been established. Reinstalling Homebrew Channel does not perform this repair: the relevant Homebrew installer change was reverted before any tagged release shipped it.
