Preview signing notice
These preview packages are not yet distributed with production signing identities. The macOS application is ad-hoc signed but not Apple-notarized, and the Windows installers are not code-signed. Your operating system may show an unfamiliar-developer or SmartScreen warning. Do not bypass a warning unless the file came from this GitHub release and its checksum matches SHA256SUMS.txt.
Close Terraria before editing a character. Keep the original .plr, Terraria's .bak, and PlrForge's .plrforge-backups copies until the edited character has been reopened successfully in both PlrForge and Terraria.
Review the attached COMPATIBILITY.md and RECOVERY.md before editing an important character.
