First public build of MScopes, a real-time music visualizer for macOS.

  • Reacts to whatever the Mac is playing (Apple Music, Spotify, browsers) through a system audio tap; works at any volume and on headphones.
  • Plays classic AVS (Winamp-era) presets faithfully: point the app at a folder of .avs files and every one of them is listed, numbered sequences play as albums.
  • Built-in presets and a modern GPU effect layer (bloom, kaleidoscope, glitch, CRT, pixel shaders written as EEL scripts) on the same engine.
  • Apple Music visualizer plugin, installed with one click from the app.
  • Requires macOS 14.4 or later; universal (Apple silicon and Intel). Signed and notarized.
