Airclone v0.25.2 — the Linux AppImage fits in on newer distros

A Linux fix release. Everything else is v0.25.1.

Video and audio on Arch, Fedora and Debian (#42)

On Arch, opening a video in the AppImage could freeze the app, and audio
through PipeWire did not work. It was the same kind of problem v0.25.1 fixed
for graphics: the AppImage carried Ubuntu's older copies of libraries that your
system's own plugins also use, and loaded them first. Those plugins were built
for your system's newer versions, so they failed to load:

  • the ALSA → PipeWire bridge, PipeWire's modules and its JACK support
    (through the bundled PipeWire library)
  • GVfs and the GIO modules, which give file dialogs your network shares and
drives, and Bluetooth audio (through the bundled GLib)
  • the SVG image loader (through the bundled librsvg)

Now the AppImage uses whichever copy is newer, yours or its own, for every
library a system plugin or driver might load, and for everything those
libraries depend on. On Arch, Fedora and Debian 13 that is your system's; on
Ubuntu 24.04 the versions are the same and nothing changes; on a system that
lacks one, the AppImage still brings its own.

Checked on every build

Each build now runs the AppImage on Arch, Fedora, Debian 13 and Ubuntu
24.04
with a desktop's graphics, audio and image plugins installed, and fails
if any of them could not load, or if the AppImage or the tar.gz needs a library
that distro does not have.

Notes

  • GitHub only, as a pre-release. This is a Linux fix; the app stores are not
    updated.
