ScribeWatch v0.5.3 native media-tested installers (UNSIGNED RC2)
ScribeWatch v0.5.3 native desktop RC2 — UNSIGNED / NOT NOTARIZED
Source commit a58cd0d (PR #30 merged).
Windows x64 and macOS Intel + Apple Silicon native CI: NSIS/DMG actual installation, executable start, UI and HTTP API smoke, and clean uninstall/unmount PASS.
Additional real media tests in all three OS: distributed FFmpeg generated a 0.8-second true PCM16/16k WAV from a synthesized audio signal, and the distributed FFprobe measured sample rate and duration. Unit tests 2/2 passed; checksum-pinned FFmpeg binaries and source attribution retained.
The previous PR#29 validated one-click Speaches pair API; deployed Cloud9 CT300 was independently tested live against CT410.
SHA256 attached per binary is verified against post-CI downloaded bytes. Linux x64/ARM64 AppImages continue in release v0.5.3.
Remaining certification blockers: Windows Authenticode, Apple Developer ID signature and Gatekeeper notarization (no signing credentials), microphone/device use and GPU-specific acoustic transcriptions on each end-user OS. This remains an unsigned release candidate, not a fully signed stable release.
ScribeWatch v0.5.3 desktop candidates (UNSIGNED / NOT CERTIFIED)
UNSIGNED desktop candidates — testing only
This pre-release contains the actual CI-tested native ScribeWatch v0.5.3 installers built from GodsQuantum/ScribeWatch main merge commit 0bcea30 (PR #29).
- Windows x64: native NSIS install, --check-install, live app smoke, and uninstall passed GitHub Actions on windows-2025.
- macOS Apple Silicon and Intel x64: native DMG build, mount, app --check-install, live HTTP app smoke, and unmount passed on native GitHub-hosted runners.
- Locked FFmpeg/FFprobe upstream binaries; attached SHA256 manifests have been verified against release assets after CI download.
- The Cloud9-Speaches pairing route was independently tested in the deployed Cloud9 CT300 ScribeWatch image against CT410, including private-LAN discovery and SSRF rejection.
- Linux x86_64/ARM64 AppImages are available in the stable v0.5.3 release: https://github.com/GodsQuantum/ScribeWatch/releases/tag/v0.5.3
Not certified: No Windows Authenticode signature and no Apple Developer ID/Gatekeeper notarization. macOS may require manual Gatekeeper authorization. Real acoustic model/GPU hardware validation on each OS has not yet been completed. This is not a production-certified release.
