What's new

• Community tweaks in .batter templates. Templates can now carry switchable tweaks (toggles, sliders, text fields and choices) that write to the same places as GoldenNugget's built-in tweaks. Their keys merge with GoldenNugget's own plists, and they can be reset from the Reset dialog.
• Community Catalog. The preset catalog has its own page, opened from the home screen. It now lists .batter templates as well as presets, shows which files each template changes, and checks every download by size and SHA-256.
• Catalog updates. Imported presets and downloaded templates are marked when the catalog has a newer version, and the home screen shows how many updates are available.
• Apply summary and risk check now list the community tweaks that will be applied.
• Added an experimental SpringBoard RSSI indicator tweak.
• Fixed PosterBoard fetch failures and added call notification service recovery.
• Fixed the About dialog crash.
• New home screen logo, refreshed shared controls and a custom DMG icon.

This is a prerelease for testing. Community catalog templates will appear in the live catalog after 9.7 is released.

• Marble and Lavender wallpapers are converted to the iOS 27 Clownfish
  format, so they get the Depth effect. Stock rebuilds write the stock
  Clownfish package at the device's screen size.
• "Rebuild Database" repacks the wallpapers already on the device into the
  Clownfish format in place, instead of only fixing them at apply time. Every
  other family, Mercury spatial posters included, is left untouched.
• Importing a legacy .tendies on iOS 27 or newer asks what to do with it:
  convert it (it may break) or install it as is. iOS 26 keeps installing them
  untouched.
• Animated video wallpapers get a real Depth pass. The animated layer is
  rendered oversized and off-centre inside the document, the way The Odyssey
  does it, so PosterKit has planes to parallax instead of showing a flat
  wallpaper.
• A new wallpaper's PosterBoard id is allocated above the highest existing one
  instead of following the autoincrement counter, which could collide after a
  delete and corrupt the on-device database.

UI:

• iOS pages slide in from the right and Home stays put: one full page width,
  a soft 240ms ease, and no slide at all on the way back home. The shared nav
  bar does not move, a new page always arrives from the right, and switching
  between a slide and a back gesture can no longer leave a page stranded
  halfway.

Translations:

• Russian translations for every missing catalog entry (235 strings).

Fix:

• "Get Database from Device" could reach 100% and then reject the database as
  corrupted, even though the backup was fine and every expected table was
  there. iOS 26 uploads the PosterBoard store without its write-ahead log, so
  what comes out is a plain copy of a database PosterBoard is still writing; a
  copy that raced a checkpoint came out inconsistent. The pull now re-fetches
  the file until it lands between two writes, and the error names the real
  cause instead of blaming an interrupted backup.
• A wallpaper with a solid-colour background crashed CollectionsPoster on
  apply (EXC_BREAKPOINT/SIGTRAP in WallpaperKit). The colour is now rendered
  into an image and referenced from the asset manifest, and the stock rebuild
  fills it in too.
• "Select Database File" reported a rejected database by throwing it at the
  crash handler; it now explains what is wrong with the file.
• An AFC media pull that enumerated nothing on a locked device (only
  .MISC/Incoming is listed under DCIM) no longer discards the verification
  of a media store that is already complete, which aborted the apply for no
  reason.
• The translation sync survives upstream history rewrites.

• Reset no longer captures the device's original plists. The pre-reset
  selective backup plus its extra lockdown session was iOS 27-only and
  re-applied the tweaked values anyway, so reset now writes stock values
  straight to the device on every version.
• PosterBoard: a wallpaper keeps its own family/name. The apply no longer
  forces the Marble/Lavender Configs model and no longer desyncs the nested
  lockAndHome identifier; only the randomized identifier is written.

  as complete.
• The iOS home page said "Supported!" for devices that unsupported.
• The protective restore now points at Find My as the common cause when a
  restore fails after the wipe.
• Phase 3 falls back to a fresh reconnect if the device reboots mid-restore.
• Manifest.db injection is batched instead of one statement per file.

Build:

• The Linux dependency install retries a flaky package index, so one empty
  response from PyPI no longer fails the x86 or ARM build.
