What is This

WikiPedia definition of a “field guide is a book for the identification of birds, flowers, minerals, or other things in their natural environment.” These field guides were typically small books for easy carry and only contain necessary information. Abbreviated guides to first quickly and correctly identify for later investigation, analysis, and application to the project.

You. Yes, You.

What are your own Design principles? Why are you working in a UX Design related field? What do you hope to achieve with UX Design skills? Who do you want to help with UX Design education? Why is UX Design repeated in this paragraph (get meta)? Never stop asking these questions.

Design is not how it looks, behaves, feels, etc. Design, capital “D” Design is everything-involved.

UX is designed. Design is experiential. Design the experiences.

Why re-Design?

Write a statement of why is this being redesigned. Who is involved? What are the needs and motivations? How can the experience be improved? What are the end-goals? Blue Sky, what should would it be? Now….what are the constraints.
