Games Library Management

Yamata launcher allows you to have your own game library, its as simple as clicking on the plus button on the game card to add a game to your library

Having a game added on the library will allow you to set a rom or binary to be launched on a emulator by clicking on the three dots menu

Game settings modal

This modal will allow you to setup certain stuffs on the game

  • Rom path: Path of the rom or binary to be launcher, once this field is set you will be able to directly play by clicking Play on the card
  • Emulator override: Its a field to select a custom emulator for that specific rom
  • Launch parameters: its a override for the custom launch parameters
  • time played: its a field to edit the time played metadata for that game added on your library

Game Details

when clicking the game it shows a bottom sheet modal that shows all the information regarding that game, it extract the information from multiple sources

Add a new game to the library

If the game that you have its not on any of the catalogs you can add it by yourself by clicking the import game button at the bottom right corner of the screen image

by clicking that button it will display a form with the following fields

If you type the title of the game and then click the search icon it will open a popup to prefill the information based on data from launchbox games database, the only two required fields are the game title the console and the executable file, by adding that you should be able to launch that game from the library
