MAIOS Project Kernel 2.0.0

The repository is the product. Its tracked package/ directory is the ready-to-use self-installing projection.

What this version provides

  • stable system boot with living context maintained by project state and competences;
  • separate activation for new and existing projects;
  • project-local competence formation and closest-owner learning;
  • host adaptation for ChatGPT/Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Hermes, OpenClaw, Pi, DSH and generic coders;
  • deterministic preview/apply installation with conflict refusal and reversible recovery;
  • Python 3.10 or later, using only the Python standard library.

Start

Clone the repository, open package/ with the coder, and ask it to read AGENTS.md and maios-project-integration.

The README contains the full normal and meta specification. The Release has no separately attached distribution asset.

@GrazianoGuiducci GrazianoGuiducci released this 23 Aug 20:40

MAIOS Project Kernel 1.5.0

  • Adds DeepSeek Harness (DSH) as a host adapter.
  • Uses the extracted directory as the DSH project root and keeps portable skills under .agents/skills/.
  • Requires no DSH plugin, hook, provider, model, or global configuration.
  • Preserves the optional Codex lifecycle projection as independently opt-in.
  • Corrects setup interviewer discovery for DSH.

The archive contains 66 package files.

@GrazianoGuiducci GrazianoGuiducci released this 23 Aug 18:34

Release notes generated by the system on August 23, 2026. Not yet reviewed.

What changed

  • Added an optional Codex project-lifecycle projection with six source-bound hook files.
  • Added read-only preflight, conflict refusal, explicit installation, a durable receipt, idempotent reinstall, and bounded uninstall.
  • Kept the Project Kernel complete when the optional hooks are not installed or are removed.

Start

Extract the ZIP into a new, empty project folder, open it with your assistant, and ask it to read START_HERE.md.

The optional Codex lifecycle projection is packaged_not_installed. Read .repokernel/lifecycle/INSTALL.md and run --check before choosing installation. Installation is not proof of host activation.
