Snapzy Camera

Unofficial community fork of Snapzy with camera picture-in-picture recording. Supports iPhone Continuity Camera, USB cameras, and AVFoundation video devices.

Install

Open the DMG, drag Snapzy Camera.app to Applications, then right-click the app and choose Open on first launch if macOS blocks it. Grant Screen Recording, Camera, and Microphone permissions when prompted.

Distribution Notes

  • Release artifact: ad-hoc signed, not notarized by Apple.
  • This build intentionally disables Sparkle auto-updates, so no appcast is published for this fork.
  • Official Snapzy.app and Snapzy Camera.app can be installed side by side, but avoid running both at the same time because global shortcuts may conflict.
  • For the original Developer ID signed and notarized Snapzy release, use duongductrong/Snapzy.
