CustomChat is now Chatify. Same tool, new name: it renders an arbitrary site into a chat site.

  • PyPI: pip install chatify-app or uvx chatify
  • The customchat and customchat-app commands keep working as aliases.
  • The CUSTOMCHAT_DB_URL, CUSTOMCHAT_CONFIG and CUSTOMCHAT_INSTALL_SOURCE environment variables are still read as fallbacks.
  • The old repo URL github.com/Harsh23Kashyap/CustomChat redirects here.
  • customchat-app 0.1.36 on PyPI carries the rename notice and is the final release under the old name.
