Announcements: info, success, warning and critical banners under the top bar, set from the admin panel. Close one and it stays closed.
Maintenance notice: when the online services are down you are told once, then a banner stays. Your games still launch.
Home sections: the Home can show a hero, a banner, text, quick links, servers and partners published from the admin, above the news.
Servers: the Servers tab and the featured server of the Home panel are now managed online (the built-in list stays as a fallback).
Works offline: the last answer is kept on your computer.
🔒 Anonymous statistics are opt-in
Asked once, off by default, and switchable any time in Settings, Privacy. When on, only launch counts, versions and error categories are sent: no account, no IP address, no file path. When off, nothing is sent.
🧩 Swift Client mod 2.2.0
Announcements and the maintenance notice show up as in-game toasts.
A broken module can be switched off remotely without a new release.
Also
The Home avatar floats smoothly.
Backend: the Swift Platform admin panel (French or English), versioned API, roles, audit log, webhooks and more.
Launch timer: a notification tells you how long the game took to start, and celebrates a new record. A launch that had to download files does not count.
Ctrl+K palette: type to launch an instance, create one, share your card or jump to any page. The keys 1–8 still change page.
Boost mode: one click on an instance sizes its memory for your PC and adds smoother Java flags. Click again and your previous settings come back exactly as they were.
🏆 Your profile
The Home avatar card now has a level with a segmented XP bar, your day streak, your fastest launch and eight badges.
Share card: turns all of it into an image you can copy or save. Everything stays on your computer.
The avatar floats smoothly instead of stepping.
🐾 Zip, rebuilt
A new little speedster mascot with a bolt helmet, in empty states, on the Play button and in the mod.
Zip the companion blinks, falls asleep when you are away, gives tips and says something when the game starts. Switch him off in Settings, Theme.
🧩 Swift Client mod 2.1.0
HUD scenes: pick a profile for singleplayer, for servers and for fights, and the client switches by itself.
Session page (key 9 in the menu): time in worlds and distance walked, this session, the last one, all time.
Quick wheel (key G): switch common modules on or off from a ring, without opening the menu.
The whole launcher is redrawn in its own style: square blocks with a black outline and a solid edge, a pixel font, stepped animations and pixel icons. Nothing is rounded, blurred or glowing any more.
Navigation moves to a hotbar along the bottom, like the game's own: press 1–8 anywhere to jump to a page.
Meet Zip, the Swift mascot, in empty states and while the game installs.
When you press Play, Zip dashes across the screen.
🏠 New Home
Built around your avatar: your head, your name, your total playtime and your last session, next to the scene with the Play button.
Server status, last session and what's new sit in one row underneath.
🧩 Swift Client mod 2.0.0
A new mods menu: a top bar, a bottom hotbar (keys 1–8), module cartridges with an ON/OFF key and square switches.
New language picker, a new Now Playing player (pixel equalizer, segmented progress bar, real transport keys), new HUD plates, keystrokes and notifications.
Colour emoji icons across the menus. The title screen is unchanged.
Ships the new mod: 40 new modules (Minimap, Waypoints, PvP Info, Motion Blur, Item Physics, Friends...), a reorganised mods menu and Bloomy as the one theme.
The launcher now downloads the latest Swift Client mod from GitHub before each launch: new mod versions reach players without waiting for a launcher update.
🌍 Host World
Hosted worlds get an address that works while 25565 is used by another server (pseudo.swiftclient.fr:<port>).
The updater was pointed at a domain that was never set up, so "Check for updates" always failed. It now reads the update file GitHub publishes on every signed release.
The launcher checks once on start-up and offers the update as a toast — install is blocked while a game is running or a download is in progress.
🌐 New Servers tab
Lists partner servers with live status, player count and MOTD.
🏠 Home
Live news and changelog can now be updated from the Swift Client backend without a launcher release.
Quick Start creates and launches the recommended instance in one click.
🔒 Backend
api.swiftclient.fr is enforced over HTTPS (except localhost, for development); the backend can now terminate TLS itself when no reverse proxy is available.
