Prism 1.0.9

An app opens one time when you press Enter many times, and Prism uses less memory on large disks.

  • When an app is slow to start, more Enter presses no longer open more copies. Before, 30 fast presses during a slow start opened the app 30 times. Now the app opens one time.
  • File search uses 16% less memory after it finishes loading (245 MB to 206 MB with 5 million indexed files).
  • While Prism loads the file index at startup, the highest memory use is 36% lower (353 MB to 227 MB). This helps computers with 4 GB of memory.
