5 Starting IRPsim

This is a technical documentation for operators (therefore in english).

To start the infrastructure, please execute the following steps:

1. Clone all Repositories

git clone https://github.com/IRPsim/backend
git clone https://github.com/IRPsim/ui-client
git clone https://github.com/IRPsim/ui-common

# Models are only required if they should be updated or IRPact is used
git clone git@github.com:IRPsim/IRPopt.git
git clone git@github.com:IRPsim/IRPact.git

2. Provide GAMS

# Prepare GAMS jar
cp $GAMSDIR/apifiles/Java/api/GAMSJavaAPI.jar backend/backend-gams/lib-repository/com/gams/gamsjavaapi/24.7.1/gamsjavaapi-24.7.1.jar
cp $GAMSDIR/apifiles/Java/api/GAMSJavaAPI.jar backend/backend-server/lib-repository/com/gams/gamsjavaapi/24.7.1/gamsjavaapi-24.7.1.jar

# Prepare GAMS native
mkdir -p backend/gams-native/src/main/resources/
cp $GAMSDIR/apifiles/Java/api/*.so backend/gams-native/src/main/resources/
cd backend/gams-native/ && mvn clean install && cd ..

3. Build And Start Backend

cd backend && mvn clean package -DskipTests -pl backend-server,backend-gams -am
cd backend-server/target/backend-production && source startEnvironmentManually.sh && ./startup.sh

4. Build And Start ui-client (Development Environment)

cd ui-common && npm install && gulp default && cd ..
cd ui-client && npm install && bower install && npm run dev
