There are many applications in which the relevant test scene is a flat display screen, such as an LCD or (in the old days) a CRT. ISETCam includes a set of methods that define the properties of various calibrated displays and that allow the user to model the displays. (displayCreate, displaySet/Get, displayPlot).
ISETcam development is led by Brian Wandell's Vistalab group at Stanford University and supported by contributors from other research institutions and industry.
